Why add a header video to your product page?
Since October 2026, App Store Connect lets you add creative assets to your product page: a header at the top of the page, a search results asset, and an Asset Library to keep them in. On iOS 27 and iPadOS 27 or later, the header is the first thing a visitor sees, above your icon and before any screenshot.
It plays muted and loops, so it works like a short silent trailer. Each localization can have its own header, custom product pages can pick a different approved header from the Asset Library, and every product page optimization treatment has its own Header and Search Results tab, so you can test up to three versions against each other.
Header assets are reviewed on their own: you do not need a new build to add or change one. The poster frame cannot be changed after approval, so choose it with care.

What does App Review check (guideline 2.3.14)?
In October 2026 Apple added guideline 2.3.14 for creative assets. A header must be suitable for ages 4+, must not reference other apps in a misleading way, and must not show prices or discounts.
Apple's best-practice advice adds a few more points: the header and the search card crop differently, so keep the subject and any text in the middle of the frame; make text readable on a phone; and leave out URLs and promises you cannot keep. VideoDuo never puts devices in the video, and its spec check covers size, ratio, length, frame rate, codec, transparency and metadata. Decisions about content stay with App Review.
What it does not do
VideoDuo makes the header video and checks it against Apple's published specifications. It cannot promise App Review approval, it does not upload to App Store Connect for you, and the video never shows 3D or animated Apple devices: devices appear only in the on-site preview.

Is there a free tier?
Yes. Watermarked draft previews are free. You only use a credit when you render the final full-size file, and a render that fails gives its credit back.
Where does the header video appear?
At the top of your App Store product page, above the icon, on iOS 27 and iPadOS 27 or later. It is optional and does not replace your screenshots or App Preview videos.
Do I need to submit a new build?
No. Header assets can be submitted for review on their own and, once approved, used on the version that is already live.
Does VideoDuo upload to App Store Connect for me?
No. You download the MP4 and its poster frame, then upload them in App Store Connect under Product Page Information → Header and Search Results.
How does pricing work?
